The architecture of the Find My Device system aims to protect the involved devices and their users.
Assets to protect
The following assets need to be protected in this system:
- confidentiality of reported data. For example: GPS locations
- authenticity and integrity of all issued commands. For example: new lockscreen passwords
- integrity of controlled devices and availability of their data. For example: preventing unauthorised wiping of data
