  • Is a hosted/cloud/SaaS version available?

    No, currently not. Running a hosted version involves some additional security requirements, so this will be implemented only when there is enough demand for it. If you would like to use a hosted/cloud version, please let me know by sending an email to info@find-my-device.de.
  • Where can I report a security concern?

    Please do not create a GitHub issue for security concerns. Instead, send an email to info@find-my-device.de. We will work together to fix the issue as soon as possible, and perform Responsible Disclosure.
  • I have the app on my phone, but I don't know what it is?

    The app might have been installed by someone else on your phone, in order to track its location. Please do not delete the app yet, since it contains information that will be very useful in your investigation. Read the Malicious Use article or reach out to info@find-my-device.de to get help.
  • Is my data safe?

    The safety of your data depends only on the strength of your chosen app password and the security of your server. Read the Security article to learn more.
